Offering handmade fine jewelry and unique artwork from prize-winning artists since 1975, Aurum Studios is located in downtown Athens on Clayton Street. In addition to a shop, Aurum Studios also features monthly exhibitions of artworks and crafts from across North Georgia.

Big City Bread Cafe

Just blocks from downtown, at 393 North Finley Street, this cozy café and bakery serves affordable, high-quality gourmet dinners and pastries made from locally-grown and organic products. Monday through Saturday, diners can eat under the elms on the café’s outdoor courtyard or stay indoors in its newly expanded dining room.

Ciné

Ciné screens a variety of intriguing films from a broad spectrum of countries and cultures. The newest domestic and foreign productions as well as movie classics and retrospectives, feature as well as documentary films are shown. Located just blocks from downtown on Prince Avenue, Daily Groceries Co-Op serves the general public in addition to its membership seven days a week.

DePalma's

DePalma's - Athens very own unique Italian restaurant, serving Athens homemade pasta and Italian cuisine for over 23 years. There are multiple locations in town including one in downtown near UGA.

The Foundry Park Inn and Spa

Georgia Theatre

Since 1978, Athens’ legendary music venue has offered a variety of live concerts almost every night of the week. Located in the heart of downtown at the corner of Clayton and Lumpkin, the theater now serves lunch Monday through Saturday on its expansive Rooftop.

The Melting Point, 295 East Dougherty Street, is an intimate concert venue located in the Foundry Park Inn in Athens.  The Melting Point hosts the very best musicians in the nation and offers patrons a unique, front row listening experience.
